Somaliland Education system led by tuition fees because of the powers business private sector!
Understanding Somaliland
Somaliland was a former British Somaliland protectorate and gained its full independence on June 26, 1960. Meanwhile, thirty-five countries of the world states recognized Somaliland after independence; hence, only five days later, On 1 July 1960, Somaliland united with Somalia to create a “greater Somalia.”
The union turned into a disappointment for the people of Somaliland because it ushered in two decades of political subjugation and ten years of armed struggle against southern domination.
The Republic of Somaliland restored its independence after the destruction of Somalia on 18 May 1991 because of the civilian war of the late eighties and early nineties.
They decided by the congress of the council of clan elders held in Burao from 27 April to 15 May 1991; constitutionally, the republic of Somaliland is a democratic country with a multi-party system but followed more traditional clan-based forms of political organization.
Somaliland has a hybrid system of governance that combines traditional and western institutions. In a series of inter-clan conferences, culminating in the Borama conference in 1993, the system of government constructed a qabil (clan or community). However, the region’s self-declared independence remains unrecognized by any country or international organization because of the mistaken way to recognize it by the international community.
Somaliland business private sector is an enemy of the country!
Since the government get too long busy on finding funding from international NGOs, some people of the population have time to set up own business without controlling by the constitution
Part of the people of Somaliland can do everything they can to make a profit without being kind to their customers.
First, we can read that the entrepreneur is like a tide. When we say entrepreneurs are like a deluge, I mean that, the force of the flood entering to pick up all easy and sandy from the slaughter of, if there is no soil erection process, or they’re no solid and fast water downstream faith refuses to mailboxes everywhere.
So it saturates the organization. The population is to take soil flooding; the law should put on closing the wave pressure. When we figure out this, we see that the entrepreneur is like a deluge. In Somaliland's current, the biggest problem is that the Somaliland businessman gets an approach to a weak authority that cannot hinder the merchants who are violating the needy society.
Why was there no control over profit-makers, by invading education?
Since the declaration of Somaliland’s independence declaration to date, it has been leading by a group of only 300 people! Only the three hundred people wore different shirts at us from time to time, looking at each other, and not even parting as rebels, or even distributing them in public.
It is a group that shows their differences, opposite. But especially the same;
It is a group that will not allow another new mind to join Somaliland’s political leadership.
So if we go back to the question, is there a fundamental law for these businesses to deal with this fragile society?
The answer is, it exists, and the country has a law that regulates these unlimited businesses.
But this small group of national leaders believes that, if it forces these businesses into law, they will also be drawn into the country’s lonely politics.
Students dismissed by teachers!
Since 2008, the opening of private schools has increased in Somaliland. These schools have made extra efforts to find beautiful uniforms and buses that bring students home. As a result, most Somaliland students take 70% of public school students
While private schools were been to be significantly higher than public schools and encouraged the establishment of private universities and the department is not responsible for ensuring that university requirements are open. There is no guarantee that universities have the knowledge and skills to contribute to different courses. Each private school has its plan, and no student fails the test. This is because nearly 7,000 students graduate each year, and each class begins with graduation without leaving school.
Finally, today, private schools are more powerful than the Somaliland Ministry of Education, and students are more powerful than teachers.
If the teacher makes too many assignments, the student will complain to the school administration, resulting in the teacher losing his/her job.
