Horn of Africa welfare and development organization (Hawdo) was established to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community living in the Horn of Africa, provides, advice, guidance, and practical assistance to regarding, Health, Education, employment and training, Human rights, And environment protection. Safety and security, and an other areas of community development.

Hawdo act swiftly in the event when an emergency strikes such as severe droughts, floods etc. Crops and animals die due to these natural disasters, by providing emergency relief and helping those affected immediately. Provide life-saving food, water, shelter, medicine and toiletries to families who have lost everything and after situation back to normality continue providing them necessary assistance to rebuild their shattered life

Hawdo provides practical help and support for those poorest and most disadvantaged members of the community during the blessed month of Ramadan to lift them out of poverty and despair and distribute them Qurbani meat, especially for those most hard to reach community who are suffering in silence. Hawdo contributes towards the reconstruction and redevelopments of the countries public own institutions, such as hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, Roads, ports etc. By collecting necessary equipments and facilities from international donor organizations/institutions and deliver directly to those said institutions in need to build their capacity to meet the public needs

Hawdo will develop effective sustainable development that will enable community to:-

• Access free health care and education including vocational skill training programme

• Provide mentoring programme for children and newly graduated members as well as other graduates with significant employment gap. By empowering them with knowledge and skills that would enable them to compete confidently in the current employment market condition

• To develop effective strategy plans to tackle with the problems of orphan and displaced children (known by street children) separated from their parents by extending love and care too alleviate their severe human suffering and helped them overcome their social chaos and rebuild their shattered lives.

• Hawdo intends to establish homes/centre, developing free primary health care system and appropriate rehabilitation programme, including trauma counseling.

 Hawdo helps prevent drug related problems and anti Social Behaviors

• Hawdo provides advice, information, and guidance on imported commodities and promote and publicize educational literatures and materials aim

• ed to raise public knowledge and awareness on all imported commodities especially food and drinks

• Hawdo collates information, conduct researches to assess those most urgent and priority needs within the vicinity of basic human rights requirements, such as health, education and to extent of human rights violation

• Hawdo promotes equality of opportunities within the communities

• Hawdo provides advice and information on environmental protection

Hawdo objectives is to promoting any charitable purposes for benefit of inhabitants living in the horn of Africa through empowering communities, groups, and individuals on all aspects of developments, particularly enables , them to mitigate the effect of reoccurring droughts that destroys their belongs and respond it appropriately by providing relief, protection and recovery.
